Fall Back

I. Hate. The. Time. Change. I just wish somebody would decide that we will either stay on the right time or on daylight savings time, but I. hate. the. time. change. Every six months I get to feel like a truck run over me because I'm one hour off. It's like changing time zones without the travel involved. The cats are so mixed up - they eat 12 hours apart. Somebody forgot to tell them about the time change. All it does is mess up my sleeping habits, my schedule, my eating habits and my mood. My muscles hurt, my stomach can't decide if its time to eat, I feel like I'm a zombie. And hey, I get to do this again in 6 months - I can't wait.

The main purpose of Daylight Saving Time (called "Summer Time" many places in the world) is to make better use of daylight. We change our clocks during the summer months to move an hour of daylight from the morning to the evening.

Fine. Why don't we just set our clocks ahead one hour permanently and be done with it?

Let's "make better use of daylight" all year. Anybody else with me on this issue?
